Volunteers will be assisting with MCCS's Back to School night to help the school staff effectively connect with families. Volunteers will assist with serving and cleaning up dinner and will supervise younger siblings of students during a brief meeting by playing games and doing crafts.

3rd Annual Turkey Bowl | Flag Football at The Children's Home

Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the 3rd annual Turkey Bowl.

Volunteers are needed to play ball as well as cheer on the teams on the sidelines

The Children's Home is a residential care facility for teens that have been neglected abandoned or abused many of these residents don't get to go home for holidays like Thanksgiving, therefore we will show up have some fun and remind them they are loved and they are still kids! Volunteers are needed to play flag football (flags provided) and also spectators to cheer the teams on along the sideline.

Chrysalis House Spring Clean Event - at this event we will be helping with yard work, cleaning, organizing and general maintenance of the facility. The Chrysalis House is a residential care facility serving women in recovery and their children. THIS EVENT WILL START AT 10AM

AA County Food Bank & Resource Center Event- at this event we will be working in the warehouse sorting, packing and labeling donated food and resources. The (AACFB) is the only free multipurpose agency in Md that provides food, nutritional supplements, medical equipment, furniture, vehicles, appliances and more - free of charge to AA county residents in need.THIS EVENT WILL START AT 9AM

Events are located next door to each other. Lunch will be provided for both.

The Diagnostics Center at the Children's Home is a 90 day intake center for abused abandoned and neglected girls with behavior issues. 

The desks in this facility have been abused over the years and need a face lift. We will be sanding down the old wooden desktops and refinishing them.
