Cleaning & Maintenance Day at MCCS

Mount Clare Christian School is a nonprofit, Christian school in southwestern Baltimore that is devoted to provide a quality educational experience for students in an impoverished community. The school is funded primarily through donations, so Mosaic volunteers have committed to quarterly service days to clean and complete maintenance projects for MCCS.

Volunteers will deeply clean each classroom and student activity room so students and teachers can spend more time on instructional activities. Maintenance projects have included painting, repairing railings, spreading mulch and cleaning the outdoor patio. Other projects have included replacing flooring, patching concrete sidewalks, and putting up new fences to provide safe and secure outdoor environments for the students to learn, exercise, and relax. These projects help to ensure that students are able to learn in a safe and clean environment, and assist the school in efficiently addressing ongoing needs.
