Bring survivors to Church at Mosaic Elkridge | The Samaritian Women

The Samaritan Women is a restorative shelter for survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse. TSW is and has been a local impact partner since shortly after Mosaic launched in 2008, we help support this amazing organization financially as well as with volunteers for things like spending time with residents, to farm days and our most important way we serve them is by driving their residents to weekend service at Mosaic.

Please consider joining us at Mosaic Elkridge following the last Sunday service on 2/25/18, a representative from The Samaritan women will be out at our campus explaining all the details of what it looks like to be a volunteer driver for the residents to be able to attend mosaic. Our goal is to have enough women from Mosaic driving residents to a church that the commitment for You will only be once every other month or even once a quarter. You would drive to the Samaritan women campus, use their van to drive residents to Mosaic Elkridge for the 10 am service, then return the women directly to campus following service.

Joining this event is not a commitment the only thing you are committing to here is to join us for this informative session. Refreshments will be provided.

| Childcare will be provided for this event | WOMEN ONLY | Ages 18 & up | Must have a valid drivers license |

Cultivating relationships | Baltimore City Police & Mt. Clare School

Volunteers needed to donate items ONLY, we have enough volunteers to assemble!

MCCS is located in a neighborhood that has been torn and broken by drug abuse and violence; In 1998 the drop-out rate in the neighborhood exceeded 80%, with many students quitting in middle school and falling into a life of delinquency. The local public schools were having a difficult time reaching the wide-ranging needs of their students. Seeing this need a few members of the local church decided it was time for a change, they took action and Mount Clare Christian School was founded.

As a partner of MCCS, we do various things throughout the school year to help assist this school in their mission of impacting the lives of the youth. One goal this year is to help develop a healthy relationship among the students and the local police force.

Volunteers are needed to donate items to fill gift bags as well as assist in assembling them. Donated items such as snacks and coffee gift cards can be dropped to Mosaic the second and third week of January. Please sign up below to join us, or to donate items (or both)
